I am a control engineer with a solid foundation on various technical disciplines. I have a deep passion towards physics and engineering, as well as a strong interest in understanding systems behavior through rigorous mathematics. I specialized in control methods to enhance safety of spacecrafts, yet my expertise varies from classical to modern, nonlinear and decentralized control theory. I am dedicated to the development of algorithms and technology for the sustainable progress of the space industry, and I value collaborative learning to the highest degree. I have also published various articles in relevant peer reviewed control conferences and journals related to GNC strategies for drones and spacecrafts, lectured linear algebra and differential equations to large groups of Industrial engineering students and actively participated in a student-driven project aiming at constructing and controlling an autonomous space rover.

Summary: Global VDES-SAT constellation network to provide maritime safety and navigational services. My main responsibilities were developing a simulation environment of the satellite constellation and communication protocols for system verification, LEOP and providing advice in relation to safety protocols (collision probability and avoidance maneuvers).

SafeEYE

Summary: Design, construction and testing of an automated flight termination system for big drones (>7kg), including the implementation of neural-networks (for landable ground images classification and structural vibration monitoring); and the formulation of a decision function to terminate the flight.
